Episode 36 - Meet Financial Advisor Ray Brown

Description
Reid Trego welcomes Ray Brown, a financial advisor at Goodwin Investment Advisory, to the Money Pig podcast. They discuss Ray's background and how he connected with GIA. Ray shares that he joined GIA about a year ago after paying off his student loan debt and wanting to put his good income to work. He reached out to local financial advisors and found GIA's approach different from other Investment firms. He followed our social media for awhile and received our blogs and emails. Next, he consulted with an advisor on our team for validation before eventually applying for a job.

Ray previously worked in the film industry as a production coordinator for ten years, living in various locations across the US. When asked why he became a financial advisor, Ray explains that he found a passion while learning the process of how to pay off his own student loans and then helping others do the same. During his time at GIA, he fell even more in love with financial planning while going through the CFP® process. The psychology behind financial planning and helping clients achieve their goals intrigues him.

If you want help managing and investing your money, or just a second opinion on your retirement plan, one of our CFP® professional wealth advisors would love to discuss your individual goals and options with you.
